The RiseUP PH online services provide to you are subject to the following Terms of Use Terms. This is an agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and the organization RiseUP PH.

Your privacy is essential to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we may collect and use information from and about you when visiting the Website. We are at the forefront of not only implementing but complying with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

The Services are for your educational and non-profit use. RiseUP PH grants you conditional access to the Website to browse and interact with the Services as long as you abide by these Terms. The information, including images and photos contained within the Services Information, is provided by RiseUP PH and may only be used for informational purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, display, reproduce, publish, license, develop derivative/creative works from, transfer, or sell any information, forms, or documentation obtained from the Services.

RiseUP PH provides you access to its online services, including social media channels, associated media, digital materials, online/electronic documentation, and other information referred to as Services. The Services, their updates, enhancements, new features, and the addition of any new online service are subject to these Terms. 

The Services may contain virtual communities, forum, email, bulletin board, messaging, portals, calendars, social media channels, document and communication management systems, or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with others (each referred to as Communication Service and collectively as Communication Services. You agree to use the Communication Services only to post, send and receive messages and material that are proper and, when applicable, related to the particular Communication Service.

Communication

By providing your email address, phone number, or other points of contact through the Website, you agree that RiseUP PH may communicate with you electronically or over the phone about the Program or other programs by RiseUP partner companies or organizations. You agree to receive communications from or on behalf of RiseUP PH at any email address, phone number, or another point of contact you provide through the Website. You further agree that all terms and conditions, agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications would satisfy if they were delivered to you in writing.  RiseUP PH adheres to the basic principles of human decency, respect, and values. We have zero-tolerance for messages and comments that curse, trash, degrade, humiliate and intimidate. Such behavior does little to inspire intelligent and educated discussion. Freedom of speech does not mean a license to smear reputation and ruin credibility. Nor does it mean the freedom to be irresponsible and to defame. Instead, freedom of speech is recognizing anyone's right to speak his or her mind and express a contrary view without being objectionable. Disrespect the opinions of others. Some topics that are posted might be controversial or offensive to the sensibilities of some. If you feel strongly against such issues, you can practice courteous responses or report the Service Administrator's concerned post. We don't want any mudslinging and flaming going on in the Services as it affects everyone. Publish, post, disclose, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, political, profane, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material, or information.

RiseUP PH believes but does not guarantee that all of the information that appears on the Website or in any email or other alerts or communications provided in connection with the Website or Program is accurate. Notwithstanding the preceding, we recommend that you independently verify all information before making educational decisions.

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE FUNCTIONS OF THE WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." IN PARTICULAR, RiseUP PH, PARTNER UNIVERSITIES AND SCHOOLS, THEIR SUBSIDIARIES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, and LICENSORS DO NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT TO YOU THAT:

(A) YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS;

Entire Agreement

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy shall constitute the entire agreement between you and RiseUP PH concerning the Website. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy shall be binding on the parties and their respective successors and assigns.
