scholarship program

• Applicants must be Filipino citizens, currently enrolled in public schools and state colleges with  RiseUP partnerships.
• Be enrolled in Full-Time in the Course Program focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM).
• Must have a minimum of GWA 2.5 or 85%
• Must not have a failing grade, Incomplete, Dropped, or withdrawn final grade
• Belong to low-income families with a total household income not higher than P150,000. 
• Students from a marginalized community,  LGBT,  other minority groups, Muslim, and other religious groups are encouraged to apply. 
• Not be a recipient of another scholarship.
• Have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in non-profit organizations and community services.

• Parents or Guardian ITR or Certificate of Indigency from Barangay indicated as permanent address or Certificate of Non-Payment of ITR.
• Curriculum Vitae or Resume
• Endorsement letter from the partnered school and college or the school's scholarships office
• Personal Statement: Essay about accomplishments and career and life goals.
• RiseUP Directory Form
• Consent Form
• 2 Recommendation Letters

Selection is made based on:

• Students endorsed by partnered schools or universities.
• Academic records
• Personal qualification and need-based
• Community and non-profit participation, if any
• Leadership abilities
• The desirability of achieving higher goals academically and professionally.

PROCESSING & EVALUATION:

• RiseUP Scholarships Committee will assess and evaluate the submitted application and documents.
• The applicant will receive an email notification about the application status.

ON-LINE INTERVIEW 

• Applicants will be interviewed by RiseUP officers via Zoom or Google meet.
• The schedule and results of the interview will be sent via email.

VIRTUAL VISITS

• RiseUP officers will conduct random virtual visits to successful applicants via Zoom or Google meet. 

CONFIRMATION OF  AWARD and ORIENTATION

• The successful applicant will be notified by call or email.
